The Barn at Alswick

We are so pleased we chose the wonderful Barn at Alswick to hold our Wedding last week. Kay and all of the team were absolutely faultless from when we arrived to set up on Friday until we left Sunday morning. The groom and I felt so supported, guided and gently directed through trickier / scarier bits of the day which we really appreciated and needed. 

Nothing was too much trouble. They had everything under control and orchestrated all our suppliers brilliantly, so the day went better than we could have ever hoped. Unlike some other venues, there is some flexibility over catering which we really appreciated. 

They are such a professional yet warm and friendly team. Arranging our wedding with them was very easy. They are experienced event planners and it showed. 

The barn is even more stunning than photos show so we recommend anyone looking for a barn wedding visits this wonderful Barn. We also feel it is good value for money compared to other venues in Hertfordshire.

Had our wedding here in Feb 2020. Ellie, Kay, Claire and all of the staff could not do enough for us.  They really made sure the day went smoothly and I couldn't have asked for anything more from them.  Huge shout out to Ellie in particular who was INCREDIBLE.  We had lots of guests travelling from outside Hertfordshire who (when seeing the address) made a few comments about how far it was.  When they arrived everyone said, 'We can see why you picked this venue!'  Everything was perfect. The changeover from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast was so smooth and wasn't noticeable. The views are beautiful and I can't wait to see the professional photos.  Cannot recommend this venue enough!!! The catering options were amazing - I recommend the BBQ sharing platters!  I recommend visiting an open day if you are considering this venue. This was how we first saw the venue and were very impressed with how welcome the staff made us feel.  There isn't a corporate feel to the place which we found at other venues.  The glamping options also impressed us as did the bridal suite. If I could score higher than 5 stars, I would

Lovely venue, the staff Kay, Ellie and Claire are all brilliant and so helpful.  My daughter had her wedding here and we had an amazing day, nothing was too much trouble and we were left to enjoy the day.  The dressing area for the  bride and her party was lovely and peaceful and a perfect place get ready with lovely decor.  We would 100% recommend the Barn for a wedding or special occasion.

The Barn at Alswick is a stunning venue with very friendly staff. I've installed temporary festoon lighting in the venue on many occasions and am always met with a smile.
