Ember Cafe Bar & Pizzeria

Used to go here all the time when family owned but now been taken over by bigger company. Loved this place with great walks to take the dogs and visit the local pub, great fishing and facilities. But now, so over priced now and with great sadness won't be going back 😪

Having been there before takeover,  I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff have been great , keeping me updated on entertainment and any questions I asked. The pitches are good with 16A hook up.  Toilets kept clean throughout the day. Cafe and bar are good. You can get a breakfast roll and drink. Alcohol is reasonably priced.

I stayed with the other half  and had a great time and will be going back for sure 👍

Very clean, great little pop up food bars for safe take away eating. Great space for children and walking the dog. Backs on to Canada Common so beautiful. Great fishing lakes for a spot of fishing. Lots of development to make longer stays possible so would hope to see more facilities and shop.

The staff were all really friendly. The campsite was very clean and tidy. The toilets and showers were super clean and very well maintained. The only negative comment I have is with the tent pitch which we had on the touring field. There were far too many stones in the ground which mad it very difficult to hammer in the pegs. Several of my pegs bent. Other than that this was a great place and I would definitely recommend it!
